Vanessa Smith

Vanessa is an Associate Director in our Audit and Assurance team.
With a wealth of experience in audit, accounting, and bookkeeping services, she has gained deep expertise in both accounting standards (Irish GAAP & IFRS) and auditing standards.

Vanessa takes charge of audit engagements from start to finish, handling a broad range of clients, large and small. With experience in planning, controlling, and overseeing audits for various organizations, she ensures each project runs smoothly.

Her client portfolio spans diverse sectors, including healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, technology, professional services, and not-for-profit organizations.

Vanessa oversees the entire audit process, ensuring that controls are properly assessed, and risks are thoroughly understood. She is responsible for developing the audit approach, supervising the team’s progress, and reviewing both their work and client reports. Her role requires her to work closely with staff and partners, regularly communicate with clients, and identify potential areas for increased efficiency throughout the engagement.

Vanessa holds a master’s degree in accounting from DKIT and is a fellow of Association Chartered Certified Accountants.
