Claire is involved in advising a range of businesses on how to manage and minimise their tax exposure, both in respect of specific transactions and ongoing compliance obligations.
Claire’s clients range from both owner managed businesses and large multinational groups, where work includes supporting companies and their shareholders with a variety of tax issues, advising on tax provisioning and the audit of tax. Claire also assists clients with the tax aspects of transactional projects, including business restructuring, sales & acquisitions, and succession planning.
Prior to joining Azets in 2015, she worked in large independent North East firms in mixed tax positions and has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation since January 2009.
